In 1933, Goody's Hardware & Paint opened its doors to the greater New Haven community. As a fourth generation family owned and operated business, Goody's has strived to maintain the feel and varied selection of a "real hardware" store. While Goody's has grown to over 12,000 square feet in size, we have continued to maintain a friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient staff to help eliminate the frustration that often accompanies shopping at home improvement chain stores.

     In addition to our dedicated service inside the store, we continually take part in the greater New Haven community that has welcomed and accepted us for over seven decades. We have tried to show our appreciation by sponsoring community activities, donating to local causes, and contributing to scholarships for high school seniors including a scholarship that was established in memory of "Mrs. Goody," one of the founders.
